| 5/13/06 ~ Hike earned his 3rd MXJ leg and 1 (yes -- that's ONE) MACH point. Good boy Hike! Also, CONGRATULATIONS to our friend Lori Westling and Cole for their All Breed Agility High in Trial today out of the Novice B Classes!!! The club said that the times were so fast, they had to double check the scribe sheets to make sure a mistake was not made! 5/4/06 ~ We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Patty Ruzzo last night. Patty forever changed the way many, MANY people view obedience training. In her memory, it is so important to remember and to teach her message: be kind to our dogs. 4/6/06 ~ YIPEE!!! Just received word that Payton and Magnum remained in the top 10 in AKC agility through the end of 2005!!! We are very sad to not be going to the National to pick up their special medallions and certificates...but Jan Kerrigan has agreed to pick up the "goods" for us. Excellent job Payti and Mags!!! A special thank you to Alta Seitz, Marti Kemper, Janna Morgan, Ann Callahan, Diana Lane and Nancy Mauntz for doing the breedings that led to these two very wonderful kids. WE LOVE THEM DEARLY!!! More BIG news...Pepper (Multi-BIS/BISS, V-1, Select-1, CH Pepperhaus Praetorian, CD, CGC, HIT), the sire of our "F" litter, will also be honored at the 2006 ARC National as he has earned his SILVER SIRE PRODUCTION AWARD!!!! We are soooooooooo proud of you Papa Pepper! 4/2/06 ~ Excellent Annie earned the first leg of her Rally Excellent title today with a second place. 3/26/06 ~ Hike earned another MXJ leg and 3 more MACH points out of Excellent Jumpers. 3/25/06 ~ Hike earned his first Double Q!!! He earned 7 MACH points out of Excellent Standard and 5 points out of Excellent Jumpers. Hike also earned his 3rd MX leg and 1st MXJ leg. This was also a big day for some friends/training buddies of ours...congratulations to Terri and Jet on completing their UD!!! 3/12/06 ~ Today Lance and Race started a bit of service dog training. Todd got in his wheelchair and we worked on him coming behind, coming toward, and the pups being at his side in heel position. Good session! The goal is for them (Payton and Magnum also) to be of assistance to Todd when we are out and about. 3/5/06 ~ Received the news that Payton remained ranked in the Top 10 Novice Agility Jumpers through 3rd quarter 2005. And, Magnum also remained in the Top 10 Novice Standard agility through 3rd quarter 2005. Good Babies! 2/21/06 ~ Received word that Payton is ranked #7 nationally in Novice Jumpers agility from 1/1/05 through 7/1/05. And, Magnum is also ranked #7 nationally in Novice Standard agility from 1/1/05 through 7/1/05. Yipee! 2/18/06 ~ At her first CPE agility trial, Payton qualified in Colors and earned a second place! 2/12/06 ~ Annie finishes her RA title with style...FIRST PLACE with a score of 97. Way to go Annie! 1/22/06 ~ It's all about Annie this weekend! Second leg of her Rally Advanced title was earned today. 1/21/06 ~ Annie earns the first leg of her Rally Advanced title. 1/20/06 ~ Payton's daughter Annie finishes her RN title. Yeah Annie! 1/1/06 ~ HAPPY NEW YEAR! |

| 12/22/06 ~ Mojo and Mack receive their CHIC numbers!!! Thank you to their parents for getting all of their health testing done!!! 12/17/06 ~ Check out the pictures of Mary and Annie in the 2006 4th quarter issue of The Rottweiler Quarterly on pages 74 & 75! 12/9-10/06 ~ At our last agility trial of the year, Miss Payton completed her OAJ in style with a FIRST PLACE and a perfect score. Hike earned 12 more MACH points out of Excellent Jumpers. Then, on her Excellent Jumpers debut, Miss Payton earned her first AXJ leg and another FIRST PLACE!!! Nice job kids!!! 12/3/06 ~ Payton earned the second leg of her OAJ with a 2nd place!!! 11/19/06 ~ Hike earned his 6th MX leg, got another double Q, received a 4th place in Standard, and earned 20 more MACH points!!! Nice job little man!!! 11/18/06 ~ Hike finished his MXJ!!! And, earned 6 more MACH points! 11/17/06 ~ Carley passed her CERF exam! 11/15/06 ~ We are saddened to learn of the passing of Payton's mama, Ariel. Ariel was a one in a million girl. Her zest for life, naughty nature, and absolute beauty is what made us so want a puppy out of her. Payton has been dubbed "Little Ariel" by her breeder, Alta Seitz, and it is so fitting as Payti is very much like her mama (especially the NAUGHTY part!). We'll miss you, Ariel. 10/29/06 ~ Annie completes her RE with another FIRST PLACE and a score of 98!!! 10/28/06 ~ Annie earns her second RE leg with a FIRST PLACE!!! 10/27/06 ~ Jager is OFA hips good, OFA elbows normal!!! 10/26/06 ~ Mack passed his CERF exam!!! 10/20/06 ~ Mack is OFA hips good, OFA elbows normal!!! Annie is OFA hips good!!! 10/5/06 ~ Received the news that Pepper, sire of our "F" litter, is Gold Sire eligible! He will be awarded his ARC Gold Sire production award at the 2007 National. Pepper earned this award having only 8 litters on the ground, and a couple of those litters being very young and just starting to title. We are so proud of you Pepper! We hope you are looking down from Rainbow Bridge wagging your behind and smiling with pride at your talented kids. Mack passed his cardiac and patella exams!!! 10/2/06 ~ Mojo passed his cardiac exam!!! 9/30 & 10/1/06 ~ Payton earned the first leg of her OAJ and received a 4th place. Hike earned his 8th and 9th MXJ legs, his 5th MX leg, received a 2nd place in Excellent JWW, 3rd place in Excellent Standard, received 27 more MACH points and another Double Q!!! What a nice weekend! 9/26/06 ~ Mojo is OFA hips "good" and elbows "normal"!!! 9/23/06 ~ Hike earned his 7th MXJ leg and his 4th MX leg, received a 4th place in Excellent JWW, earned another Double Q toward his MACH and 11 more MACH points...WOOHOO!!! Terri and Jet earned their CD just 14 short months ago and now already have their Obedience Trial Championship...Woohoo!!! AND, they earned their CGC! 9/1/06 ~ Carley and her junior handler Stephanie finished their RN title -- with a score of 98 and another FIRST place!!! This makes him Double Take's Flight Leader, PT, JHD, CGC. Excellent job Mack and Jeremy! 8/12/06 ~ Mack earned the first leg of his PT!!! He and Jeremy are back at it tomorrow to try to complete the title. 8/5/06 ~ Mack and Jeremy passed their JHD!!! (That's the Junior Herding Dog title offered through AHBA.) We are thrilled and so proud of both of you boys on a very successful first time out in the herding ring! Mack is learning a new activity! 6/25/06 ~ Congratulations to Payton's brother DJ and his proud mom Mary Rosenblum for earning DJ's PT, making him West Winds Don Juan, CDX, TD, RE, PT, CGC. Chubbs was measured for his permanent height card - he is all of 7 inches. :-) Congratulations to Payton's brother DJ on completing his CDX with a first place and High Scoring Dog from the Working Group award! He is now West Winds Don Juan, CDX, TD, RE, CGC - watch for him in the herding trials this summer! 6/16/06 ~ Today Connor's son Cosmo joined him at the Bridge. Cosmo leaves behind his wonderful human parents, Scott and Cheryl, and his little boy Alex, who he grew up with. God speed, Coz. Find your dad Connor and your brother Austin and run on legs free of pain... 6/4/06 ~ Carley and Stephanie earned their second Rally Novice leg with a FIRST place and a score of 97!!! 6/3/06 ~ Payton's daughter Carley and Stephanie earned their first Rally Novice leg on their first try and received a third place. Nice job!!! 5/28/06 ~ Hike earned his 5th MXJ leg and 5 more MACH points. 5/27/06 ~ Hike earned his 4th MXJ leg and 7 more MACH points. 5/23/06 ~ Carley and Stephanie graduated from their 4-H Advanced Obedience program.
