| Vaccination Protocol We believe in a reduced vaccination schedule and that overvaccinating actually hurts our companion's immune system. There is much to learn about how long vaccinations actually last. However, it does seem clear that the yearly boosters are unnecessary and are in fact harmful. Here are some links to different articles that may aid you in deciding what is best for your pet. Protocol by W. | Supplies for Food Preparation We are often asked what appliances we use to prepare our raw diet. Here are our two most favorite: Vita-Mix Blender After having burned out many much less expensive blenders, the decision was made to make this investment. It has been worth EVERY penny! It totally puree's anything we've put in it. We use it a lot for our own food preparation, too, like making yogurt fruit smoothies...YUM! Northern Tools Grinder We have had great success grinding chicken pieces on the bone with this powerful grinder. It will come in VERY handy when weaning a litter! We bought item number 168632. We think it's important that the dogs eat and chew on whole raw meaty bones, but we do also like to grind up some of their meals. |
